This large deck had a post so rotted that the entire side started to collapse 😳

Even if a deck is well built, over time being subject to the elements will cause the structure to fail. 🫠

Fortunately whoever build this deck had strong foundational support so we were able to raise it and repair it in a day! 💪🏻

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of one of our most beloved clients and dear friends, Vicky Carter. 💔

Over the years, Vicky and her husband Jeff became so much more than clients to me. They became family. A few years back, someone broke into my truck and stole my tools. We were right in the middle of one of their projects. So when we showed up on the following Monday, ready to push through, they sat me down and handed me a check to help replace some of what was taken. Here I was, being paid to work for them, and they still wanted to lift me up. I sat right there and cried. 😭 That’s just who they are.

Before Vicky went to be with God, Keller and I had the chance to visit with her. This picture says everything. That smile, that laugh, that’s Vicky. Full of life and joy right up until the end.

To Jeff and the entire Carter family, thank you for letting us be part of your lives. Vicky, you will be deeply missed ❤️

My girl won big at her dance competition this weekend and I am so proud of her. I am in awe every time she steps on stage and to see her dedication pay off is something truly incredible to watch. ❤️
