We are excited to join for the third year in a row and honored to be included, as we are the furthest shop from DC.

Crossings, by Ben Goldfarb, investigates the profound impact of roads on the environment, wildlife, and ecosystems, exploring both the destruction and innovative solutions for mitigation. The book examines how roads fragment habitats, cause animal mortality (roadkill), disrupt migration, and alter ecosystems, while also highlighting the work of road ecologists building wildlife crossings (overpasses and underpasses) and other solutions to create a more sustainable future.
