Perks Construction is a local residential construction and remodeling company seeking a motivated and driven Construction Apprentice. Lead Installer will oversee a variety of projects from start to finish. Project types include kitchen remodels, bath remodels, basement finishing, and deck construction in residential single-family homes, primarily located in Salt Lake and Utah County, Utah.
Qualifications:
● 6 months to 1 year experience preferred. Willing to train the right candidate on the job.
● Have reliable consistent transportation
● Own basic construction hand tools, power tools, and tool belt
Duties and skills include:
● Demo and cleanup
● Framing
● Drywall
● Finish Carpentry
● Painting
Hours start at 30 hours per week with full time available based on skills, and job work load. Individual must demonstrate ability to manage details and multi task. Must demonstrate good attitude, be flexible to change, results driven, accountable and be open to results driven management and measurements. Compensation starts at $16/hour and up to $20/hour based on skills and experience.
Personality should be self-driven, problem solver, good at thinking on feet and staying on the job until the job is complete. Verbal and written communication skills and professionalism a must.
