Good morning friends and family. Many of you have been reaching out to Mike over the last several days and I want to provide a quick update.

This week, Mike started feeling bad. We knew he had thrush, but they also thought he had a sinus infection. Yesterday morning while he was with Tyler and Gracie, he didn’t get out of bed. He was groaning and yelling out in pain so Tyler and Gracie called the ambulance.

They immediately transported him to New Hanover where he was diagnosed with a brain bleed. His blood sugar was also over 1600 which put him in a coma and caused his body to contract sepsis. His brain bleed hasn’t gotten better, but it also hasn’t gotten worse.

The hospital did a MRI today to check his organs and brain because he still has not come out of the coma despite lowering his blood sugar and the sedation levels. They also wanted to check his leg because his blood is clotting and one of the clots became lodged in his leg last night.

We appreciate all the good thoughts, vibes, and prayers, but we ask that you respect our privacy during these trying times. We will continue to provide updates on here as we get them.

We knocked out some hedge and bush trimming as well as Pampas grass pruning for a new customer in Mill Creek Landing.

Before and after of this spring time prep we did for a customer in The Willows. Trimmed pampas grass, monkey grass, boxwoods, palms, a holly tree, and crepe Myrtle. We also removed some dead vegetation to make room for new growth and redefined the edges of the flower beds in the yard.

To all of our friends and customers please know that we will be back up and running soon but due to the sudden unexpected death of our son whom some of you may know since he helped us do tree work. We will be taking a little time off to be with our family.
