Nik and I have been working on this for almost a year. Some of you were lucky enough to see or play the Snorkeler 50 before it was packed up and sent to Malaysia. This is one of the most extensive modifications that I have done to a Marshall. A completely new circuit board was made for the amp and swapped in. This Marshall JCM800 2203 is now a Snorkeler 100. New features include, Mode (Red/Blue), 3-Way Bright, Structure, and 3-Way Shift. On the back panel, Presence, Resonance, Deep, and Density (Negative Feedback).

Now that I have posted both amps, you can see where the extra features for the Snorkeler Plus Mod came from that I did to the above Bogner Snorkler 50.

More is on the way and will be revealed in time, some of you out there are privileged to be in the know on what is planned. I bought new drill bits and cutting oil because I'm planning on drilling a lot more holes in amps.

You guys can get mad about the Fender Tone Master all that you want, but I can't whether I like the amp or not. It's popular and selling well. I have to be prepared to fix whatever people are playing. Whether that means maintaining stock of tubes or updating firmware. With all the power speakers and bass amps that come through the shop I have a lot of experience with Class-D already. The only thing that surprises me about the Tone Master is that Fender didn't release it 10 years earlier.

If there is high enough demand for shipped in repairs of the vbus failure I'll come up with a flat rate system. Some of these amps are 5 years old now. That is the point where I start to see products coming in for repair.

If you guys want me to post more from the archives I can keep digging. This one is from a magazine printed in 1994 by Audio Amateur Publications, Inc. Titled "The Williamson Amplifier" it was reprinted articles from "Wireless World" a publication about the cutting edge technology of the late 1940's. This image was a full page ad in the back.
