Client Testimonial Spotlight: "Extreme Pole Buildings completed a 40’ x 60’ pole barn for my wife, Sarah, and me this Spring. Prior to selecting our builder, we did our due diligence and obtained quotes from multiple outfits that service our area. What we learned from the process was that, while the baseline costs for the basic structure were very similar among the various companies, most other outfits only offered limited options to personalize the building. Extreme, on the other hand, was willing to go the extra distance on the details. Our end goal was to build something that resembled a structure that could have been built around the same time as our home (1928) and I believe Extreme helped us accomplish that goal. We selected siding that resembles board and batten, modified the pitch of the roof for the appearance of a loft, added three cupolas, and a custom 16’ wide sliding barn door.
Throughout the planning process we were able to work directly with the owner of the company, John Lapp... John was readily reachable by both e-mail and by phone.
When it came time for construction, the crew was excellent. Despite an unseasonably wet May, they put the building up in record time doing their best to work around the ever-changing weather conditions...
We had multiple inspections throughout the process and many of the inspectors made a point to comment on the craftsmanship and attention to detail.
I elected to sheet the inside of the building myself and found the walls and posts to be straight, plumb and true. It was apparent that, although working swiftly, the crew was still able to construct the building with precision.
John’s subcontractor poured and finished the concrete pad and apron. Considering the overall size of the pad, it is very flat and the surface finish was quite satisfactory.
