TGC Group LLC has been in business for 17 years. Thomas Shinn spent his early career in Information Technology for 20+ years. After witnessing the actual events of “9/11,” he, like many other techies in NYC left the field. Thomas took this opportunity to start fresh. A friend asked him to update his old kitchen. We looked at the finished work and couldn’t believe our eyes! The kitchen was beautiful and we didn’t know where this talent came from. Thus, the start of a new career as a Home Improvement general contractor.
Through out the years, Thomas has worked in many facets of residential construction. Building one relationship at a time and learning about new and improved methods in repair and remodeling. New technologies in home improvement were introduced and we tested them all, to find the most reliable products for our job sites.
What is most unique about Thomas is his “client-is-first” service. Honesty is the best policy and educating his clients, has earned him a reputation of being highly reliable and we have many customers who have stayed with us year after year. If you are happy, we are happy.
90% of our work is in hoboken and jersey city NJ. since we started our company in weehawken that is where our client base is located.
