This beautiful hutch was once a dated wood-tone piece, but with the right vision and a lot of careful work, it has been completely transformed into a rich deep teal statement piece that feels fresh, timeless, and ready for a whole new life.

At Cutting Edge Painting, attention to detail is everything. Hardware is always removed before painting so nothing gets oversprayed, surfaces are properly prepped, finishes are applied carefully for durability, and each piece is reassembled with intention — right down to adding beautiful updated hardware that complements the finished look.

This piece features so many beautiful details: an arched top, arched glass doors, glass on three sides, mirrored back, built-in light, and a spacious drawer at the bottom. Pieces like this deserve to be refinished the right way, not rushed.

We love taking older furniture made from real wood and giving it a completely fresh look while preserving the craftsmanship that made it worth saving in the first place 🪑✨

Jared’s working on a quick shed re-stain at our own home! These two sides get cooked from the sun - A couple gallons of stain can help protect your investment!

If you have out buildings that need a little love, we can do small exterior jobs, too! Match your house or try something a little different! Smaller projects can sometimes be squeezed in, especially this time of year!

Before, lots of during shots & a stunning “after” color transformation on this mid century modern home in Central Maine!
Going from a lighter palette to dark really accentuates the stone wall & cedar shakes, windows & exaggerated eves! Even the big windows were painted to match the new ones that were installed.
Decks were refreshed with a double power wash, scrape & new stain!

It’s “Weekend Projects” season & with the EllieAnna Gift Shop opening the Maine on Main Flea Market NEXT WEEK, the projects are a plenty!!!
Grateful for Jared’s help! We make a good team, I tell him my ideas & he makes them happen!! 🥰 Took a small {door} opening & made it a much bigger, more welcoming, easier to move furniture & fixtures in & out of, framed out through-way into the other front room at the shop!

Happy New Year!! Cheers to 2024!! We have some big news! Our new spray booth space, which is over 700 sq ft, is outfitted to finish furniture {think bedroom, living room, game room, etc}, kitchen cabinets, shutters…really anything we can fit in that space!!
