At Bldg. Architecture, investing in the next generation is one of our greatest privileges. For the third year in a row, we were honored to host High Schoolers from Lewisville ISD for Career Out 2026!

Michael Fittz, Bruce Smith, and Naomi Lands had a blast sharing what a career in architecture really looks like — from current multifamily and senior living projects, to navigating the path to licensure, to the tech and tools that drive our work every day.

To the students who spent the day with us — thank you. You reminded us why we love what we do. The profession is in great hands.

Most developers have been sitting on the sidelines. New multifamily supply is finally declining after 3 years of record deliveries — and that means the recovery window is opening.

This week we're celebrating a deficiency free Life-Safety survey for Encore Memory Day Center's newest location in Lewisville, Texas.

Originally the site of "Children's World," built in 1985, this building has been home to several children's day care operations. But after being completely renovated from top to bottom, it's now licensed and ready to serve the community's aging population suffering cognitive decline.

Dementia can take many forms, and dementia can effect people of all ages and knows no demographic. This day center will provide peace of mind to the loved-ones of so many in Lewisville for year's to come.

We cannot wait to stop in and see if filled with guests. Designing spaces that serve such a critical need is why we love what we do.

This week marked an important milestone on our Willhaus at Georgetown Assisted Living Project with a successful slab pour earlier in the week.

It's not a cliche- a solid foundation is critical in every pursuit.

We cannot wait to continue to watch this boutique assisted living community come to life. We are excited to take you along with us on this journey as an existing 3,000 SF home becomes the centerpiece of a 16-bed residence that caters to seniors in Williamson County.

Carefully positioned amongst existing trees and surrounded by the beauty of the Texas hill country this project promises to impress. Stay tuned to watch this design truly come to life.

Home renovation and addition projects are a full time job. But not YOUR full time job. Don't believe us- hear what one of our clients had to say. Lucas McCurdy- was able to document the entire process and recently shared his experience with all of his followers here on LinkedIn.

We are proud to have taken part in this project- knowing what an impact it has had on his family's everyday life.

What once was a small, stepped home perched on a hill overlooking what would become Lake Lewisville the original home needed a LOT of attention.

By elevating the addition this home now has sweeping views of Lake Lewisville sunsets. We added nearly 900 square feet, added about 500 square feet of deck, and performed a top-to-bottom renovation on this home.

Let me take you through one of the most challenging projects of my career... My home. This was an absolute joy for me. Using my God given gifts to bless my family. But come on now, you have got to know that every inch of this project carried just a little more weight than anything I have ever done.....
