Several years ago, a client reached out to us about getting his landscape beds back in order. When I met with him, he told me his wife was an avid gardener, but had passed away a few years earlier and he just didn't have the heart to do anything with the landscape.

When we started working in the landscape beds in the back of his house, we uncovered a perennial/Rose garden his wife had done years ago. It was buried under a thick layer of weeds and leaves.

She had put so much work into this garden, that I didn't want to modify it, I just wanted to get it back to it's original state. I designed in some low maintenance perennials he could sit out there and enjoy looking at!

Not only was I humbled, but my crew was also humbled when we got finished with this project and saw how happy he was to see the garden his wife had tended to for so many years come back to life!
