We are delighted to announce that Bechtel Frank Erickson (BFE) Architects, Inc. has recently transitioned to new ownership under Adina Fuller, Taylor Theriault, Jesse Widtfeldt, and Arthur Love. This marks an exciting new chapter for our firm—one that honors the legacy of our founders, Rick Bechtel, Gerry Frank, and Bill Erickson while continuing our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and design excellence.

Adina, Taylor, Jesse, and Arthur bring deep passion for architecture and commitment to upholding the values that have defined BFE Architects. With their leadership, we look forward to expanding our impact, embracing new opportunities, and continuing to serve our clients and partners with creativity and integrity.

While stepping away from ownership, Gerry isn’t going far—he will remain with the firm full-time through 2025, continuing to provide expertise and mentorship as we enter this exciting new phase.

It’s great to give back to the place we have called home for 30 years! Not only did the entire BFE office contribute, but we had the honor of collaborating with our friends at the Lexington Historical Society and the Cary Memorial Library to build this meaningful exhibit that is displayed along the Minuteman Bike Path. Swing by and check it out, right behind the Buckman Tavern.

Our three student housing projects at Tufts University are all under construction and in different phases. This was a great opportunity to invite the office out for a site visit. These three buildings will be Passive House verified. One of the buildings will be ready for students this fall.

The ribbon has been cut! After more than 6 years in the making, we are happy to announce the completion of our addition at Jerome Home in New Britain, CT. Our clients are central in the designs we strive toward. This Weston, MA renovation combines our clients' aesthetic and performance sensibilities in a new kitchen and primary bath with complimentary lighting design. An additional built-in unit for art doubles as a media display while organizing the larger space.
