My previous post from June 18, 2023, was after I returned to painting following a hip replacement in March of 2023. Well I had my other hip replaced on December 1, 2023, and am scheduled to start painting AGAIN the first week of February! I am pain-free and ready to paint for you!

I thank God for modern medicine and the hip replacement I had March 3rd. On my third week back to work, I was able to paint this 2-story foyer "PAIN-FREE"! The ceiling required rolling 3 coats of white to cover a "gold" color from the floor with an extension pole. I was also back on an extension ladder for the first time since pre-op to paint crown molding & cut in ceiling/walls/window trim.

Client has free standing stained glass screen she will be using.

Just spent 18 days "in church".......
painting at Cornerstone Baptist in Nicholasville, KY.

They originally wanted just the sanctuary painted, then added the bathrooms, and finally the foyer.

Wall color: Sherwin Williams Anew Gray
Platform Wall: Sherwin Williams Iron Ore
Ceilings/Trim/Doors: Sherwin Williams Pure White.

They chose colors to coordinate with the new charcoal-toned pew chairs they had delivered last week. They will also be replacing the foyer chandeliers with some black pendant lighting.
