The CleanCut step is a product that we install on a regular basis. It lowers the tub height for easier access. There is also a version for bathing that has a removable insert to hold the water in. We install them for different reasons, for elderly people that struggle with the height of the tub and for handicapped people. We have also installed them for people with injuries or recovering from surgeries. It is a much cheaper option than a full shower remodel. It can also be installed in as little as a couple hours, depending on the tub material. This option along with some safety grab bars has made a world of difference for our customers independence.
