All projects are designed and built by me, William Ney - I'm a one-man show. My aim is to build quality furniture from reclaimed hardwoods that will last for generations. One of my dining tables was recently featured in the "Kitchen Tours of the Bluegrass" held in Lexington, KY, in July, 2013. Materials for my projects come from my family farm in Madison County, Kentucky. I represent the sixth gen

eration raised on this farm that has been in my family since the early 1800's. I use only antique hardwoods off the farm from the various houses and barns strewn about several hundred acres. The wood I use is predominantly oak and cherry. It's important to me that the wood shows signs of its past and that it reflects a lifetime of honest farm labor. However, I don't think it needs to scream this; rather, like my grandfather, it should speak softly and to the point. This means no clumsy farmhouse furniture that looks cobbled together in haste to satisfy a trend. This is solid hardwood furniture - it is built to last many lifetimes. It follows logically that the design should remain relevant as well. Any and all questions are not only welcome, but encouraged.
