U.S. Army sergeant Stephen Schap committed a shocking crime after discovering that his wife, Diane Schap, was pregnant despite his having previously undergone a vasectomy.
Realizing the child was the result of an affair, things soon got worse, as he identified the father as Gregory Glover, his own best friend.
Schap tracked Glover down to a telephone booth on the military base where Glover was actually speaking on the phone with Diane.
He confronted Glover, and k*lled him in a premeditated act of revenge.
Then things took a real twisted turn.
After the k*lling, Schap deca***ated Glover, and placed the sev***d head into a gym bag—ironically branded with the "Head" sports logo—and drove to the military hospital where his wife was being treated.
He burst into her hospital room, pulled the head out, placed it on her bedside table, and forced her to look at it, reportedly saying, "Look Diane, Glover's here."
Schap was sentenced to 45 years, and has now been released.
