Local friends and clients - We’re praying these storms pass without causing damage for anyone in our community.
But if severe weather does impact your home or business, Whitney Roofing & Guttering is here to help with trusted inspections and support.
Be weather aware and stay safe tonight.

After looking at some data, these are my thoughts on the rest of today.
In case you’ve been sleeping under a rock, there is potential for storms tonight. Some of them could be strong/severe.
-There’s a conditional risk across western Arkansas for *isolated* supercells. This would promote large hail/tornado chances.
Some of you will go through this afternoon/evening and see absolutely *NOTHING*. Please read that again.
-Storms will likely become more widespread late tonight and into early Saturday as a front passes.
There will still be a severe weather risk, but much lower than anything that forms this afternoon/evening.
-Once we progress into the night hours, the main concern is strong winds rather than hail/tornadoes.
-Some models differ greatly on storm coverage the next several hours across western Arkansas.
We’re shifting into nowcasting mode and away from models the next several hours.
I’m expecting severe thunderstorm watches, possibly tornado watches later this afternoon/evening.
The Arkansas Weather Network team will have live radar coverage if necessary later today, overnight and tomorrow.
Thank you for your trust.
