The Wait Is Over. The Future Starts Now.
More than ten years in the making. A vision worth pursuing. A legacy worth preserving.

On October 21, 2026, Lighthouse Point Yacht Club officially broke ground on its $250 million redevelopment, beginning an extraordinary new chapter for the Club and the City of Lighthouse Point.

Led by owners and developers Terry Paterson and Jessica Easterling, this transformation will introduce a spectacular 45,850-square-foot clubhouse, world-class waterfront dining, fitness and wellness facilities, tennis, pickleball, a beautiful pool, and 21 luxury townhomes.

But this project is about more than buildings.
It's about honoring 65 years of history, preserving the relationships and traditions that make Lighthouse Point Yacht Club special, and creating a place where generations of families will make memories for decades to come.

Construction is underway, and the new clubhouse is anticipated to open in 2028.

A Historic Milestone. A Bold New Future.
On October 21, we officially celebrated the groundbreaking of Lighthouse Point Yacht Club’s $250 million redevelopment, marking a monumental milestone in the Club’s 65-year history.

After more than a decade of planning, dedication, and determination, construction is officially underway!

We extend our sincere gratitude to our elected officials, City Commission, Planning and Zoning Board, Marine Advisory Board, Community Appearance Board, Development Review Committee, City staff, and our Police and Fire Departments for their time, dedication, and commitment to our community.

A special thank you to our Board of Directors, Club members, and incredible yacht club staff for their continued loyalty and support throughout this journey.

To our investors and lenders, thank you for believing in our vision and making the commitment to help bring it to life.

We also recognize architect Annie Carruthers of In-Site Design Group for her creativity and dedication in helping transform this vision into an extraordinary design.

The clubhouse is officially down—and the next chapter of Lighthouse Point Yacht Club is underway.

After 65 years of memories within these walls, demolition marks the beginning of an exciting transformation for LHPYC. Stay tuned as we take you behind the scenes and share construction updates as we move from demolition to building what comes next.

And while construction continues, so does Club life. Our pool deck, dining, fitness center, tennis, marina, social events and more remain available for our members to enjoy throughout the redevelopment.

Almost 25 years of working together, and THIS is the prize.

With demolition underway at LHPYC, owners and developers Terry Paterson and Jessica Easterling took a quick break from the plans, meetings, and work happening behind the scenes to get in on the action and give our demolition professionals a short break.

After years of planning and working toward this transformation, getting behind the controls and taking down a piece of the old clubhouse themselves made this long-awaited milestone a little more fun.

For our members who have been patiently waiting alongside us: demolition is moving, the team is hard at work, and progress is happening every day. And yes… Terry and Jessica are enjoying this part just a little too much.

Now, back to it—there’s still plenty of work to do and a new Club to build.
