What is Zooglea? Zooglea, also known as "biofilm," is a complex matrix of bacteria and other microorganisms that can form in the condensation drain lines of AC systems. It appears as a slimy, gel-like substance and is often found in warm, damp environments, making AC drain lines an ideal breeding ground.
