Fava bean harvest makes for good eating when you know what to do! I made a delicious, simple salad following the recipe from combining the new beans with lemon, mint and olive oil. Couldn't locate his recommended cheese in my little town, so I went with some shavings of parmesan. Served here with slices of my homemade sourdough.
Grow and eat fava beans! The bumblebees love their early flowers, too 🐝
