Hey friends! I have some employees via Summit Lawns who had their week cut short for spring cleanups because of the storm. They did some great work during the storm but we can’t process spring cleanups when lawns are partially covered in snow. We did not do field work today and will not work tomorrow for cleanups but we can come saw up branches and remove them for you. There have been some big ol branches that have come down because of the heavy snow. I’d like to help via Summit, and through my groups of friends. If you have branches that need taken away or trees that have toppled, I can help. I have an arborist friend who does tree takedown as well. He is very reasonable, an arborist, climber, licensed , insured and can have a tree gone by sunday night. Let me know!

Hey friends! We are approaching garden tilling season! Let’s get your patch ready for a salsa garden or even bigger! I can help you start a garden or help you get you ready for planting for a small fee. I do hourly work as well as quick one timers. I am also the operations manager for Summit Lawns so I can direct help with fertilizer programs, mowing, cleanups, tree heath and other things. Hit me up!

Just a reminder to all my friends: I have some rad tools you can borrow to help you put your lawn and garden to bed this year. I’ll only be working nick can dig it stuff on the weekends now that the time change is here. You can hire me to do your garden work or get on Summit Lawns lists for leaf pickup, snow removal, fall clean up etc.

I have:
Two big backpack leaf blowers. If you get your leaves to the parkway, Summit will pick them up for a small fee. No bagging necessary.
Hedge shears
Large buckets
Tiller (you haul or I’ll drop it off)
Power washer (electric)

And lots of other stuff you can borrow for a tad of gas money. Hit me up on the PM.

So some of my bestest friends are moving to Northern California and they needed some help with their massive backyard retaining wall. It needed mulch and a bed cleanup. So the fam all got together, I got the mulch deliverer via Dudley and about a dozen of us used some pitchforks via summit lawns and a mass of wheelbarrows and got it taken care of in a few hours. Had some pizza and went on our way. Good times!

Lincoln landscapers: Summit Lawns is looking for a small landscape contractor who is interested in ~$100,000-$150,000 small projects per year. Most projects are in the $1500 - $5000 range.

We don’t do project work like this and need a close relationship with someone who is looking for work, able to do bids quickly, and able to schedule it in within ~4-6 weeks.

We had a great relationship with another provider for many years, but they moved out of state. We are interested in building a relationship with someone who would like projects and leads handed right to them, and capable of acting on them quickly.

Hey friends! It’s garden takedown time! Give me a shout if you have a garden that needs trimmed up, mowed down and tilled in. If you have ash trees, they are already starting to drop their leaves. I can blow them into the garden and mulch them in as well. I work for Summit Lawns during the day so this is evening and weekend work. If you need aeration, leaf cleanup or other services throughout the year, I can help you via Summit and advise as necessary! Don’t rent a tiller and try to mush it into your backseat. So I like to do experiments. Lots of times I do them myself on my own lawn. This is a look at what a great fertilizer and w**d control program can do for your yard with nothing other than watering regularly and letting a company like mine deal with the products and application. It’s been a year and here we are. I did all the reseeding in the back and blanket work with Nick Can Dig It. Summit has done wonders for the front and back via our fertilizer and w**d control program. And then you have the patches that have been held out of commission for example. Not bad work! It just takes time.

Hey friends! Did some work at my high school economics teacher’s rental on Saturday. She’s awesome and so is her place! Gonna get to work on her house soon but I’d thought I’d pitch you some satisfying before and afters as to what me and the fam can do! This property has lots of mature trees, and likely some pin oaks in the neighborhood. So not only do they get hit hard with leaf debris in the fall, they get hit again in the middle of winter and even in spring. Pin oaks love to drop their leaves way way late. It was great to get this home cleaned up and looking good for the folks who live here and to make my former teacher happy. Lots of work left to do all over the place! If you’re in need of a hand tilling or doing things outside, between myself and Summit Lawns we can do almost anything. Hit me up and let’s get ya on the schedule. ;)

Ok nerds! I’ve been doing some work outside of work, which is Nick Can Dig It. I bought a really beat up trailer and made it new again with some elbow grease and primer and paint and some new tires. Her name is Wheelie Cool. I’ve partnered up with my buddy Dana Green from Green Gardens too! She designs, builds, plants, and is a great gardener. Kinda like me, except better. I do lots of cleanups and tilling and Dana does small scale hard scapes, soft scapes, and really digs transformational project work. Between us we can do lots of projects, from big to small. My wife Karissa is also on board to help with garden work when it needs to get done. She specializes in planting, mulch, and cutting down and destroying invasive volunteer trees from fences and around houses and backyards. We also do branch removal after windstorms, etc. Give us a share if you’re feeling saucy. We love the outdoors and making spaces look great!
