Tip for the week: We used this waterproof frosted glass spray paint on a shower window for privacy . It saved the owners of this rental a ton of money on their refresh between tenants. It was only $6.99 a can!!!!😀

It begins at home…
This summer we took a 21 day gap on the business to repaint and restore my home of 23 years.
It took a village to battle the heat and the time we had to complete the project.
A special thanks goes out to my close and dear friend Mandy that not only showed up, but did amazing job restoring the intricate features that I could not reach for fear of heights. By the time we got to the second half of the house my fear was on the way side. The memories of lunches on the scaffolding, painting until 2am to avoid 103 degree weather, and drinking a cooler full of water a day will be forever treasured.
It would be an understatement to say that we could not have got the weathered rot fixed around the windows and doors without my dads detailed carpentry. This home is 98 years old and the windows were a challenge because each sill has a different measurement. We completed six and six more to go in the spring.
My business partner, and mom, came through on the back of the house and ran over paint and supplies so we didn’t have to get off the ladder.

My family loves what we do. Saving the integrity of the details on your homes is just as important in that of which we treat ours. If we can save it we are keeping it.
