Been a while, and have lot's of pictures of a bunch of projects been working on for months, but today we start painting the trim on a split level house, with a 20ft peak, ladders just wouldn't be safe...so we got scaffolding set up and will be working our way around the house for the next couple days, can't wait to see the results

Had a client that had a back porch that was no longer structural sound. So we fixed that, roof was determined saveable, so walls and supports were replaced and sheathing with built in weather seal, 3 windows and one storm door installation later and it is ready for siding. Client wanted to wait on siding while chose which option prefered. This will stand up to weather for a short time while client decides. Either way they have a back porch that will not possibly fall on them now and that is what matters. Client is happy, so I'm happy. Most structural issue projects are within my capabilty, so if you suspect you need repairs, i give free estimates and solutions.

Really need to work on before pictures, replaced a window on detached garage and window in a kitchen. Older house and garage, this involved sheathing around window as it was missing, slight deterioration of wood around was repaired and sealed/waterproofed around entire window. The Trim installed also is PVC which will not rot or deteriorate and is very much resistant to the elements. Old wood/non insulated poorly weather sealed windows replaced with steel/vinyl and PVC....shouldn't have to worry about the weather now and should slightly help(since only one window in house replaced) with heating/cooling, also half the price as most charge for window installation involving this amount of work. These windows also will be ready to recieve future vinyl siding installation to create a more modern look or trim can be kept to keep classic look. Clients were happy, and that's what matters. I do install windows and doors, whether existing or new.

Got a call from referral about an uncompleted deck, builder got busy/expensive so didnt finish decking after framing. I don't like coming in after someone, but did my best to make it closer to my standards. I can see whats off with the framing, but that's the carpenter in me. In the end the clients were happy with how it turned out, and that's what matters to me. Even if some other guy/gal starts and doesnt finish, I'll get it done.

Someone got a little too wild and killed their ceiling fan light, luckily fan motor was not damaged and was able to replace with new light fixture. No job too big or too small.

For this client, put in over 100 feet of retaining wall along their house and backyard, to help finish up the exterior. Wall along the house is level to 1/32 of an inch and kept it straight with slight curving to adjust for plants. They had underground sprinklers and an allo line along the back that ran parallel with wall, along with crossing the wall along the house. Lines were located and no damage occured while digging and slight adjustment to one sprinkler head to accommodate the wall. The wall along the fence was determined better to be built with the slope of the land while keeping it slight elevation changes. Clients were happy, I was happy. Just the way I like it.

Video 3 of 3 currently of a completely make over of 4 bedrooms in a 1920s house with orginal plaster/wallpaper painted over. Clients were not looking to spend a lot of money to completely update the walls and ceilings and just wanted it cleaned up and looking nice. Along with new ceiling fans and some extra closet storage. I would have 4 videos, but one room is currently being used for bathroom remodel use and not so pretty. This project included patching, minor updates, trim work, painting, and staining. Along with some custom carpentry work.
