DEMO TIME!

The first task we took on was getting the upstairs plumbing ready and exposed for Deal’s Plumbing to rework our layout. To no surprise, the 2-3 inches of concrete subfloor and cast iron settings made this demo a good little stress relief.

We will be replacing the south facing window with a vinyl privacy setup to allow for a tub and tiled shower. Toilet moved, and double vanity installed. Floor will be completely retiled and walls restored.

Follow with us as my family and I take on the “family business” in restoring our 1933 built home! We purchased this home as is, and included horribly textured plaster walls, paint over everything, covered up oak floors and more!

Projects were currently on
1) Tearing down a (non load bearing) wall from the kitchen to the dining room
2) Ripping out 3in of concrete subfloor to completely rearrange our upstairs bathroom
3) Removing old carpet and laminate flooring from the entire house, revealing original oak flooring.
4) Sanding and finishing, said oak floors.
5) ripping down oak wall boarding and refinishing the lead paint covered walls behind them 😮‍💨

Nearing the end of season special! $100 off any deck restoration through the end of November!

I’m a real guy, doing real work. And these are real photos, nothing amazing to enhance the effects of what hard work can make happen. In order to get that final product, you have to work through the process. Sometimes that process is endless hours of sanding to get this “exterior paint” off a deck for your customers.
