WINTER IS APPROACHING!! GAG!! That means you need to cover your backflow preventer on the side or back of your house with a big heavy blanket covering the copper pipe that goes into the ground completely! We are doing our best to get out there and winterize for everyone, but this will be peace of mind and protect your sprinkler system from a possible freeze!! Here's a picture of a backflow, but check your house to see what yours looks like and cover it tight!

I cannot believe the trees are actually starting to turn, the nights are getting cooler, and the birds are starting to congregate in the trees and chirping like they are formulating a plan for migration already! Is it really that close to fall and then the big word - WINTER?? Now is the time to start thinking about winterizing your sprinkler system! I am in the office still just 8:00 to 12:00, but the answering machine is always on and I will ALWAYS call you back.
