Kaitlyn: the employee so mysterious we’re starting to think she’s in witness protection.

If a camera comes out, she disappears faster than a homeowner after hearing the words “change order.”

Around here, the guys call her “The Fixer” because somehow she keeps the crews in line, fixes problems before anyone notices them, and still outworks half the building. If something’s going sideways on a jobsite, Kaitlyn already handled it 20 minutes ago without saying a word.

She may dodge every project photo we try to take, but trust us
CT Construction would fall apart faster than a DIY backsplash without her.

Hardest worker on the crew.
Least likely to be caught on camera.
Probably currently telling someone to clean up their mess right now.

Meet Beau — the newest addition to CT Construction and technically the baby of the group, even though he walked in acting like he’s been here for years.

Unlike most new guys who spend the first month looking lost near the trailer, Beau hit the ground running immediately. The kid came in with experience, works hard, learns fast, and somehow keeps up with a crew that communicates primarily through sarcasm, yelling measurements across rooms, and “you know what I mean” explanations.

Now sure, he’s still the youngest guy on site, so naturally the crew treats him like a little brother they relentlessly harass for sport. But Beau holds his own.

And here’s the thing everybody notices about him right away:
His jobsite is CLEAN.

Not “construction clean.”
Not “we shoved everything in a corner” clean.
We’re talking suspiciously pristine. Vacuumed up, organized, tools put away, debris handled
like a grown adult with emotional stability. Frankly it makes the rest of the crew uncomfortable.

Half the team leaves a remodel looking like controlled chaos. Beau leaves it looking like the cleaning crew already came through.

Current Beau traits include:

* Actually caring about details
* Keeping jobsites cleaner than some people keep their homes
* Working like he’s got something to prove
* Taking directions well without needing things explained 14 times
* Looking mildly concerned anytime the older guys start laughing too hard

The best part? He fits the culture at CT Construction perfectly. Hard-working, good attitude, takes pride in the work, and understands that how you leave a jobsite matters just as much as the work itself.

So if you see Beau on your project, just know:
The work’s getting done right

and there’s a very good chance your house will be cleaner when he leaves than when we got there. 😅

Meet Nate — Chris’s right hand man at CT Construction and the guy keeping projects moving while Chris is out dreaming up the next remodel.

As Project Manager for CT Construction, Nate’s the one behind the scenes coordinating schedules, answering questions, solving problems, and making sure your project keeps rolling without turning into one of those “my contractor disappeared for 3 weeks” stories.

Now
 professionally? Solid.
Personally? Absolute wildcard.

This man can’t go 14 minutes without dropping a pun nobody asked for. Whether you’re talking tile layouts, framing, hockey, or Menards runs, he’s got a joke loaded and ready to make the crew collectively reconsider their career choices.

Outside of work, he coaches hockey like it’s game 7 of the Stanley Cup, treats dogs better than most humans, and physically cannot walk past the $7 rack at Menards without “just taking a quick look.” Historically, that quick look costs at least $83 and somehow includes items nobody understands.

But jokes aside, Nate’s a huge part of why projects at CT Construction stay organized, communicate well, and get completed the right way. Good people matter in this industry, and having a crew that actually cares about clients and quality makes all the difference.

So if you hire CT Construction, just know:
You’re getting a remodeling team that takes quality seriously

and a project manager who may or may not hit you with a construction pun while discussing your schedule.

Honestly, that’s just part of the experience.

You can keep saying “maybe next year”

or you can finally have the kitchen/bathroom/basement you actually want to spend time in.

Most people wait until:
❌ something breaks
❌ water damage shows up
❌ guests are coming over
❌ they’re sick of looking at it

The funny part?
They usually wish they would’ve done it sooner.

Right now we’re offering priority scheduling for upcoming remodel projects before the summer rush hits.

No gimmicks. No pressure.
Just solid work from a local crew that cares about doing things the right way.

Chris Taylor — owner of CT Construction, part-time chaos coordinator, full-time “yeah we can open that wall” guy.

Runs on caffeine, deadlines, and the unwavering belief that every house in Lincoln has at least one “what in the hell did the last guy do here?” moment hiding behind the drywall.

Girl dad x2, which means he can frame a basement, install a Schluter system, AND get bossed around by a toddler before 7am. Builds kitchens by day, assembles swingsets by night. Same skillset, different stakes.

Known for:

* Turning “this might be load-bearing” into “we’ll make it work”
* Politely judging other contractors’ tile jobs (and then fixing them)
* Saying “one more day” and actually meaning
 well
 close enough
* Running a crew like a team, not a revolving door

Believes your remodel should be done right the first time, not the third time after two other guys tried it cheaper.

If it involves demo, dust, design, or a homeowner saying “while you’re here
” — he’s already got his boots on.

CT Construction — for all your construction needs
and a little controlled chaos along the way.
