Meet Cerise 🍒 (Cherry in French). Cerise caught my eye as a wee little baby due to her outstanding coat. As Cerise matured, she developed her coat the quickest out of the litter, and I believe that happened because she has thicker guard hairs and an overall shorter length to her fur. This allowed her to have the snappiest flyback fur, which is what the Crème d’Argent standard calls for. Cerise also exhibits a very steep rise from her shoulders. As a senior, she has lengthened out a little, but her spine is perfectly straight, which is what matters most. Her weakest link is peak placement, she peaks early and slopes off, but when paired with the right buck, I believe she will come through with her amazing shoulders and coat to produce some winners. Although she is not the showiest of does, she is one of the most prized in the rabbitry.
