Colonial Nursery was founded by Dan Coneeny with just a cash box and a few hundred mums! We also stock a top quality selection of shrubs and trees.

Now we have grown into a large production greenhouse where we grow all our own annuals and perennials. We are a retail & wholesale nursery & landscape design business in Lincroft NJ. ☀️ Hot temperatures can put extra stress on your plants, but a few simple watering practices can make a big difference.

💧 Check the soil before watering. If it’s dry a few inches down, it’s time to water.

🌱 Water at the base of the plant to ensure moisture reaches the roots where it’s needed most.

⏰ Early morning is the best time to water. Cooler temperatures mean less evaporation and more water reaching the roots.

🔥 During periods of extreme heat, containers, annuals, and newly planted trees and shrubs may need water daily, or even twice a day.

💦 Water deeply rather than giving plants a quick sprinkle. Deep watering encourages stronger root systems and healthier plants.

We’re looking for a delivery driver, courteous, friendly, responsible, safe and clean DL license.
A utility person who can help with farm maintenance. Fix things, help unload shipments, take out trash, fill compost buckets, etc…
Hours are flexible, for the most part they are M-F 8am-4pm, sometimes a Saturday if needed.
