🌿💚 Reflecting Sunday 💚🌿
As we say goodbye to last week and prepare to welcome a new one, many of us are already building the list.
📅 Appointments to remember.
🛒 Groceries to buy.
💻 Work that needs to get done.
🏠 Things around the house that need our attention.
👨👩👧👦 People we need to show up for.
But before you finish that list, I want you to ask yourself one important question:
Where are YOU on it?
Not just your responsibilities.
Not what you can accomplish.
Not what everyone else needs from you.
You. 💚
What will you intentionally do this week to care for your mental, emotional, and physical well-being?
Maybe adding yourself to the list looks like…
☕ Enjoying your coffee before it gets cold.
🌿 Taking 20 minutes to sit outside.
📖 Reading just because you enjoy it.
🚶♀️ Moving your body in a way that feels good.
📵 Putting your phone down and being present.
💬 Asking for help instead of doing everything yourself.
🚫 Saying no without writing a five-paragraph explanation.
😴 Going to bed when your body tells you it’s tired.
💚 Making space for something that fills your cup.
And remember: caring for yourself isn’t another task you have to perform perfectly.
It’s simply remembering that while you’re taking care of life and everyone in it…
you are someone worth taking care of, too.
So as we reflect on the week behind us:
✨ What drained you?
✨ What filled your cup?
✨ What do you want to leave behind?
✨ What do you want to carry forward?
And as you make your list for the week ahead…
👇 Tell me one way you’re adding YOURSELF to the list this week.
Mine is: ____________. 💚
Let’s give each other some ideas in the comments. You never know—your act of self-care might inspire someone else to choose themselves this week too. 🌱
