Looking through some reclaimed hand hewn timbers and find an interesting piece. A pass through the saw and it is beautiful Black Walnut. Initially it was grey. The interior is almost purple. Cleaning up some edges with a wire brush to highlight the color and grain while preserving some of the patina. Need to create something that keeps the depth and characteristics of the original.

We have this one off that looks great. Just looking for inspiration. The best idea so far is wall art. Looking for input.

Update! Decided to include some photos of its "good side". The grain pattern and swirls really are fantastic. Now let's get that social inspiration going! Comment below with your ideas!

Another addition to our rustic industrial series. Reclaimed spalted Maple and Hickory side tables cut to showcase the beautiful grain and spalting patterns. Both are one of a kind. Hand crafted to add some polish and refinement to a rugged piece.

These are meant to add a bit of nature and a slight rustic feel to any room. Adding a little warmth and balancing out some of the straighter lines in modern rooms. Or, they can lend substance to help anchor lighter, airier rooms.

A commissioned indoor/outdoor bench. Made with solid, industrial reclaimed Cherry, Red Oak, and African Liptus Joinery for subtle contrast. Given a natural poly coat to ensure many years of service. Moisture and UV protectants and to stabilize color.

Another batch of locally sourced reclaimed mixed hardwood 2x6 industrial lumber is in and queued up for break down. Going to have to trade the gym for an ice pack and ibuprofen. Any day maink sawdust is a good day. Remember to check out our selection of other reclaimed materials from timbers to roofing.
