Meet the owner.

I’m Jack. I’m 21, and I started Lakes Area Window Cleaning back in 2022.

Most of my time now is spent behind the scenes running the business, but I still get out in the field when I can.

One job I won’t forget was a house with 7 Bernese Mountain Dogs. Great customers, but keeping those windows clean was a different story.

Outside of work, I keep things pretty simple, fishing, reading, and spending a lot of time thinking about how to keep improving what we’re building here.

Meet Nolan, the face behind many 5-star experiences at Lakes Area Window Cleaning.

Nolan's favorite activities are fishing and hiking with his dogs.

His most memorable work story was "finding an entire ecosystem in a window well". He claims to have found 15 salamanders and a ton of toads and frogs.

Nolan's favorite part of working at Lakes Area Window Cleaning is being able to socialize while working. "Our customer's are some of the most kind and amazing people I've ever met. And I guess my boss is pretty cool too...".

Nolan thinks what sets us apart from other companies is that he isn't just trying to get his job done and leave, he is trying to get to know who he is working for and build a relationship.

Nolan is a very ambitious and hard working guy. He studies business at St. Cloud, and says that one of the most valuable parts of working here is the advice he receives from our customers. Providing a luxury service allows us to work with some very successful people, so Nolan and I learn lots from the advice we receive in the field. This is one of our favorite parts of the service we provide.

His only weakness?
If you have a dog… just plan on your appointment taking a little longer. Nolan will absolutely spend extra time making sure your your dog gets plenty of attention.

We’re hiring a window cleaning technician at $18/hour during training + tips.

Here’s what the job is actually like:

• You’ll work 8–10 hour days, mostly outside
• Most of the day is spent moving — ladders, equipment, house to house
• You’ll be working directly with Nolan every day
• We clean higher-end homes, so quality and attention to detail matter
• Some days are easy, some are long — weather and workload vary

This job is a good fit if you:
• Prefer being outside over sitting in a building
• Don’t mind physical work for most of the day
• Want consistent hours without a complicated role

No experience needed — we train everything.
