Light colored microfiber upholstery sold rapidly. It wears significantly faster than other materials and weaves also. We cleaned 2 chairs like this only 1 year old, then we suggested they purchase washable covers as they week not need our services as often that way. We always provide information to help our neighbor's save money and time.

This carpet is only 1.5 years old. This early wear is called by a few names, water marking, pooling, shading, but the legal term for it is "pile reversal." It happens usually in nylon that has a taller dense cut pile, but can happen in any carpet. The pile falls in 2 different ways which makes a pattern that mimics a wet spot, even after cleaning. This isn't normal. This is a defect that could be replaced if your warranty is still valid. Make sure to clean your carpets by a certified professional every 12-18 months for health, to maintain your warranty, and revive it's life.
