Adams Needle Yucca (Yucca filamentosa) - the classic, sword-like leaves & signature white curly threads along the edges will bring structure and texture to your landscape, year-round.

A little over 2 weeks until it's officially summer! 😎 Here are three early summer perennials we think you should add to your garden & why:

Astilbe 🌸 feathery, plume-like flower spikes in shades of pink, red, white, and purple make this one a showstopper in early summer. Astilbe thrives in partial shade and moist soil, making it the perfect solution for those tricky shady spots in your landscape.

Blanket Flower 🌻 bees love 'em and so do we! Low maintenance is an understatement: plant in full sun and then leave it alone, as they are incredibly drought tolerant (and actually prefer it that way).

Meadow Sage Salvia 💜 salvia has been on our radar already this year, but is such a beneficial addition to your summer garden we had to shout her out again! The stunning violet color is just too irresistible to pass up (and our pollinators think so, too!)

Blooming Now at Lang's 👀

April showers turned into May showers, so now we have JUNE BLOOMS! Come see what is bursting to life here at our garden center, and check out some stand-outs below:

🌿 Garden Phlox - already blooming & showing off! To keep it going all summer long, deadhead spent blooms as they fade and water consistently.

🌸 Scarlet Fire Dogwood - this one is peak bloom right now, and it is stunning! A late-blooming Kousa hybrid, Scarlet Fire delivers those gorgeous deep pink bracts long after the classic white dogwoods have faded.

🎈 Balloon Flower - those little buds are forming and the first blooms are starting to pop. To keep it going, snip off any spent flowers and it'll keep blooming through summer.

It's quite a colorful show here at Lang's! Bring home a blooming beauty to your garden. 🌹
