After some jackhammering to get the concrete slab down to the correct height, I was able to install my dear friends new bluestone entryway landing. I loved the pattern, as did they.

A journey....

So I’m aware that I’ve been quiet for awhile. I’ve been holding back because I wanted to wait until the end of this project to post anything, but here I am nearing the end of one of what was “supposed to be” the simplest of repairs for the dearest of clients, but luck wasn’t having that. Instead, an adventure began...... There was mud and snow and collapses and broken curbs and neighbors and nearly flipped excavators and backhoes and building inspectors and engineers and wildly unnecessary permits (general consensus) and more mud and more snow and landslides and then............ The clouds parted, the sun shone, a dream job was realized and a friendship was forged. I want to say a very sincere thank you to two lovely people whom I absolutely adore and respect. Thank you for believing in my vision, my skills and most of all me. You didn’t have to, I know that it wasn’t easy, but you have done it with grace. A special thank you to Terry, Jennifer, the girls (I’m sorry for cutting your favorite childhood tree down), Brian, Wade and Kevin. More pictures to follow.

Dare I say that Spring is finally here!!! Here are a couple of recent finished projects from the homes of new satisfied railing customers! Both of these railings were forged from 1” recycled rebar.

I recently received a these photos in a very appreciative text from my client. I have to say that he would have made a great landscaper! Cheers to a job well done on the backfilling and doing the final grading. Clients like you make me want to keep getting in my truck everyday.

The wall is finally completed and the client couldn't be happier. I am really proud of this project and I'm looking forward to coming back to install bluestone over the walkway in the future.

A new stonewall and forged railing project is nearly complete!! I'll be going back in the fall to lay bluestone over the concrete walkway as well. It's been an absolute treat to work for these clients and the stone has been incredible to work with!!

This client had been fighting for months with a nagging and unfortunately random leak that had been dripping in their attic and thereby damaging the drywall. After some garden hose diagnostics, I located the leak and after mortaring a new chimney crown, they are watertight once again.
