Personally, "color drenching" isn't for me. I still prefer white trim. But here are some tips for doing it should you decide you like everything all one color.

Sheen is a big deal in color drenching. Using matte on a ceiling can be a major mistake because it can show all the flaws. My painters have had to repaint due to this mistake a client insisted on with the instruction of their designer.

If you're repainting, instead of painting all the trim in white, why not take a more monochromatic approach and help it blend into the walls, instead?
