If you took classes at Rustic Resque you remember our classroom space. You won’t recognize it anymore with 𝒯𝒶𝓁𝓁𝑜𝓌 & 𝒯𝑒𝒶 taking this space over! We are excited to have them opening up at 114 E Main St Little Chute. Definitely make plans to check them out! But remember they only have access from Main Street! We wish them the best!

Things are getting officially OFFICIAL over here! 🥹🌿 And we are officially in CRUNCH TIME. 😂

Today is all about tying up the last-minute details, getting technology figured out, finishing a million little things, and getting ready to open our doors TOMORROW!

With that said, I’m going a little MIA today. 🤍 I’ll be putting my phone away for most of the day so I can actually focus and get everything done. I’ll check messages periodically, but if you don’t hear back from me right away, that’s why!

I adjusted Wednesday’s hours a bit after some feedback so we can hopefully catch more of you later in the day before we settle into our regular store hours next week!

Did you know there is a quilt shop in Little Chute? Rachel Ann Quilts LLC took over the main floor where Rustic Resque was. We are so happy to have them join our building. From beginner to advanced Rachel and her team can help you. Oh, did I mention they offer classes?! I’ll be attending some of those this Fall/winter for sure! Stop in and check them out!

Do you like sunflowers? I planted some probably 25 years ago and had a few every year thanks to the birds and chipmunks bringing seeds into my yard. This year they a really tall (and haven’t fallen over yet in the wind) probably 9-10’ tall. A nice sunny spot (actually several spots) in the yard.

People keep asking how retirement is - I’ve been so busy it doesn’t feel like I’m retired other than most days I can sleep until I naturally wake up, throw some clothes on and walk out into my garden, work outside as long as I want, enjoy sitting on my deck enjoying the view and thinking about all the things on my to do list, and slowing down and just enjoying life.
We have been at the shop or at Antique Up - Kimberly almost everyday finishing setting up, moving and organizing, and shipping lots of packages out.
