Most modern ceiling fan/lights are simple to install and wire. The most critical item is insuring that the box is rated for the weight load of the fan. An inexpensive bracket ($15) must be installed between the ceiling joist to comply with weight rating.

When repairing incorrectly installed corner bead , cut out the existing tape , bevel cut the seam, install Sheetrock screws, joint compound, prime and 2 coats of paint. Lots of steps and lots of work to get it perfect.

When hanging very heavy mirrors on a wall always use heavy duty mounting brackets. They cost around $22 each but are well worth the price. Whenever possible use a stud finder to find a stud finder, otherwise use 1/4” toggle bolts. Plastic anchors are guaranteed to rip out.

Typically the base cabinet is structurally strong and simply needs a fresh coat of paint. Sand , remove dust, prime with oil based primer , 2 coats of paint. Re install all hardware. It’s a lot of labor but the cost of a new bathroom vanity is exorbitant.
