Another site visit from last week. This one a church conversion to congregate living for people experiencing mental health challenges. The Gardens will provide assistance to help these individuals reorient and reenter society in a safe and controlled environment surrounded by nature in Southwest Little Rock.

Last week’s site visit to one of our dispensary projects in Bryant, Arkansas. Progress is moving quickly. All the framing is up, roofing is being delivered soon along with the metal wall panels, and drywall goes up this week. Clark Contractors, LLC is doing a hell of a job!

The New Haven Clock Factory is an incredible architectural treasure and we are so excited to finally see it being put into competent hands to complete the adaptive reuse that will serve so many New Haven families!

The Housing Authority of New Haven (HANH) intends to finally purchase the dilapidated former Hamilton Street clock factory this month for a total of $4 million -- as part of a long-in-the-works plan to turn the industrial property into 130 new homes.

Meet Veronica McWilliams, our shadow for the day. She’s a first year student at Harding University working on a degree in Architecture (poor thing). We’re excited about big things we know she’ll do in her future for the profession!

It’s a great morning for some porch work. As AI continues to develop we’re exploring ways to increase our productivity in the office. Using to create standard project templates to manage tasks and our calendar to meet deadlines and have a more transparent schedule for clients.

During this week’s trip we had a chance to visit another Denver-area project. This one in Frisco, CO. A vacation home for the client and his daughters for winter skiing.

This project involves the full remodel of a quad-split-level home in the heart of Frisco just steps away from Main Street. Every room is being remodeled including cabinets, fixtures, fittings, services. Creating a unique warm inviting home for winter vacationing.

Not every project is glamorous. But every project has potential. We’re working in Denver this week getting started on a new project in Fairplay, CO. A large commercial warehouse conversion into a series of industrial retail spaces. Don’t worry. This beauty is getting one hell of a transformation.

Leveraging the power of and for some design work on an interior renovation of a Quadplex in downtown Little Rock. Each unit is stacked and a mirror so we are working through design iterations on one which will be identical for each unit.

The DC Metro still has incredible potential in housing development through historic preservation and adaptive reuse. Like this amazing project we designed and permitted 3 years ago at 35 Bryant Street NW in the Bloomingdale neighborhood.
