Update Calais Apartments. We are almost finished. Glad we are doing this project, but we had to match the paint on the existing buildings. Not crazy about the colors, but my crews have done an amazing job on them and we are way ahead of the scheduled finish date.

Markham Hill Hotel Fayetteville, Arkansas. 2 blocks from Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. It is still a work in progress, but this will be a gem. Hotels like these are being built to give customers a different type of stay. Full details of our work in a few months.

2014. If you have ever eaten at YaYa's Bistro out at Promanade Mall in Little Rock, you might have noticed some of our work. These pics represent the steps to get a knockdown texture wall to a Dragon Claw faux finish. We had to match, exactly, the existing faux finish in the main dining area. We also matched the beams. The owner loved our work so much he bought us an extravagant lunch.

The March 31st 2023 tornado took out 6 buildings at the Calais Forest Apartments along with damage to other buildings. We have the privilege to be able to be a part of the rebuild of the 6 buildings. We are painting the exteriors, drywall finishing and painting the interiors. I want to thank my partners at VCC for hiring Gemini Painting.

The G@Market Bentonville. We completed this 84 unit apartment complex in December '22. This one was very challenging, but a lot of fun to do. The ground level is the garage, complete with car charging stations. Yes, the interior walls in the units look pristine just like they look in the pictures. We use a product called 555 to spray over the walls after the finishing is complete. No seams show and there is no texture other than what the paint leaves. Absolutely perfect.

Embassy Suites Little Rock. I have been asked to explain how we did this. The only lift we could get in the front doors would not reach the elevator walls. We had to devise a plan that was like none other and had to be OSHA approved and safe. The fearless Kendra Guess Thompson harnessed up and climbed across the metal rafters to tie on safety lines and a static line. I bought a Boat Swain's seat and a device called a Ronin. The Ronin feeds the static line through it and lifts the painter sitting in the chair up to the desired height and then locks down on the rope to stop. If for some reason the Ronin failed or any ropes broke, the painter would basically hang there as they would be tied off with safety line in 3 different areas. 9 stories in the air! I bought most of the equipment at a local mountain climbing store. Our aerial work is second to none and we continue to find innovative ways to paint buildings no one else has the nerve to do. All the painters who worked on this project were absolutely amazing and they trusted our experience with this. It took 6 work days to complete the walls of 3 elevator fronts. We will be painting the entire interior of the Embassy Suites Hot Springs starting in November '24. Can't wait to see what we have to do to paint those elevator fronts!!!
