Here we go Arkansas!!🥶
1. Thin stream of hot and cold water on all faucets
2. Close all vents in crawl space
3. Drop stopper in a bathtub while dripping to have water for flushing if water line breaks
4. Keep all interior doors open to allow warm airflow as well as cabinet doors under sinks
5. Cover all outside faucets (hose bibs)
6. Raise thermostat a little more than usual to keep house warm a bit longer if power goes out
7. Know where your water meter is at the street and how to turn off with a water shut off curb key in case a line breaks under your house. You'll know you have a break if your water pressure drops or stops.
8. Charge your phones
9. Fill your car/truck tanks so you'll have a place to be warm and charge phones
10. Spread rock salt on walkways
