Over the past two summers, Garrett Wise and I have been hard at work upgrading the building automation systems at Shippensburg High School and Middle School — and we're proud to say the job is now ALMOST complete!
This was a large-scale project that included automation and control for:
2 Chillers
3 Boilers and 3 Boiler Pumps
4 Chiller Pumps, 2 Dual Temp Loop Pumps, 1 Domestic Recirculating Pump
1 Pool Heat Exchanger, 1 Flow Meter, 2 Make-Up Water Meters
2 Electric Meters, 1 Glycol Feeder
Fire Alarm Panel Monitoring
6 Dedicated Outside Air Rooftop Units, 19 Rooftop Units, 5 Air Handler Units
8 Variable Air Volume Dampers, 17 Electric Duct Coils
57 Unit Ventilators, 38 Fan Coil Units, 16 Blower Coil Units
10 Minisplit Units, miscellaneous temperature monitoring for kitchen coolers/freezers
5 Baseboard Radiant Units, 6 Cabinet Unit Heaters
Sewage Pump Monitoring
Demolition of all old controls
And installation of approximately 170 thermostats and a new communication link
