Important News!!

Family, friends, and faithful followers…
I am coming to you with some pretty important news. After much thought and prayer, I have decided that at the end of this year (2026), I will be closing the chapter on Smell of Freedom Candle Co.
Following a life-changing health event, I came to the realization that I had spread myself entirely too thin. Balancing a demanding full-time job with heavy travel alongside managing a small business as its sole employee finally pushed me to my limits, and I realized I wasn’t truly living life to its fullest.

I have loved every single candle poured and every fragrance created. More than that, I’ve cherished every friend I made and every event where I got to meet you all in person.

Now, I’m looking forward to crossing some big items off my bucket list: tea parties with my granddaughter, backyard Nerf wars with my grandsons, Sunday dinners with my kids, jumping on an airplane at the last minute and finally planning that 10-day trip to Italy I’ve been dreaming about.

I will continue to sell our in-stock and made-to-order items until inventory is depleted. I'm also excited to bring you a special fall line featuring some of our top fan-favorite fragrances! But after that, I will be fading into the sunset.

I have enjoyed every moment of this journey over the last 3+ years, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my dream and trusting me with your purchases.

On this day every year we reflect on those whose check was cashed.
Those who paid with their lives defending freedom.
For generations past and present, we remember and reflect on the sacrifices made. We honor those families left to carry on the legacy of the ones they lost.
