Little touches to your home can make it special and not take a lot of time or money. I found these cool metal switch and plug plates on clearance at Walmart. I love a good DIY. I still do a little work here and there so if you need help give me a jingle.

And I wondered what I was going to do tonight...the freezer door wouldn't shut. I pulled it apart and a screw had come loose and the drawer glider was hitting it. Tighten it up, put it back together, works like a charm! Easy peasy. If you have some that just doesn't work right. Give me an IM, text or call. I would be happy to help.

Today's Saturday project at my own place was replacing the gasket under the toilet. I noticed there was little dark ring underneath the toilet and sure enough look what I found. And since I was in the mess I thought I might as well put in a new shut off water line and no slam toilet seat. Watch the action video!

So it's been a while since I have posted anything. Once in awhile I get to do things at my own place. This is one of those new Nest thermostats expensive but really nice. It learns when you come and go. You can adjust it either by just simply twisting the ring, or you can program it in the nest program or with Amazon Echo. Super easy to install but if you get one and need a hand let me know!
