Get to know our team: Alex Kuechle – Landscape Foreman

As a Landscape Foreman, Alex starts his day off by making sure all the tools and equipment are ready to go. During the day his main responsibilities are to manage and keep everyone on task while working on projects.

Alex started doing landscape five years ago. Before working with Matt’s, his only experience was summer lawn mowing. He’s worked his way up from working on a mowing crew to becoming a Landscape Foreman and helping direct crew members’ responsibilities to ensure everyone stays on task.

When Alex is not working, he spends his time with friends, family, and his girlfriend. He also enjoys spending his summer weekends out on the lake.

Something unique about Alex, is that he has been scuba diving in Mexico and grew up racing BMX. His top bucket list items are to go to a Super Bowl game or a Formula 1 Race.

If he had a superpower, it would be the ability to teleport so he could travel the world in an instant. And his favorite pet is his family’s Golden Retriever Cooper, because of how friendly and gentle he is.

Tonya joins our team to help support the Operations Department on the administrative side.

A little about Tonya:

She is a foster parent and has been for over a year.
She sings in her church choir and her favorite artist is Prince.
She is a bit of a Snow White, She would take a farm on the beach so she had a place for all the animals.

Get to know our team: Scott Holman– Fertilization Technician

As a Fertilization Technician, Scott spends most of his time making sure his routes for residential and commercial properties are being completed efficiently and effectively. He ensures the properties in his routes are looking green and w**d free.

Scott has 15 years of lawn care experience. He started out as a mower doing residential mowing and moved into the fertilization field working his way up into his management role. He was a manager for 8 years with Guaranteed Turf Care.

He started playing the drums when he was 14 years old. He’s been married for 11 years, has 1 child and 5 stepchildren. He is originally from California and moved here when he was 12.

An item on his bucket list is to see the Minnesota Vikings win a Super Bowl and if he had a superpower, it would be to predict the future.

His favorite vehicle would be a Chevy Corvette (in honor of his friend David), but also for the cool look it has.
