Warning! When you are scraping off the pop corn ceiling texture in South Carolina, the ceiling underneath may not have been primed, or even finish taped for that matter. Here is a ceiling I did in a nice town home development. Notice, once I started scraping off the texture, the completely unfinished ceiling underneath. The corner tape on the ceiling was only finished on the wall side, and the ceiling part was just bare tape. Hence, this became a dry wall taping job, and then a coat of primer before finish ceiling paint.

A dining room re-make. Lots of caulking on the ceiling!

This brand new home only had an unfinished garage (just a single coat of dry wall tape & mud). I finished the taping project, and then applied primer sealer to all the Sheetrock. After that, a finish coat of paint. Sherwin Williams flat white on the ceiling, and satin “Ice Cube” on the walls.

Added some nice color to this beautiful home. Colors went from bland to beautiful!

I will be finished tomorrow with the painting transformation of what was this dark ocean front condo, into this bright, airy, beautiful spot to soak in the ocean views.

On this new home, the builders came in to fix a door casing, and left this mess behind. My repair work and painting took care of the mess.

I got a chance to do some furniture refinishing for us. Bought the two bed stands & dresser at the Good Will. I refinished & distressed them with chalk paint & polyurethane. The color is Coastal Blue.
