It may be a little late to mention this. However it would be a good idea to run your heat today just to make sure it works and to burn off the dust from the heating elements.
It is going to be cold in the morning.

Also if you have a "Auto" function on your thermostat, make sure you have it set for a good heating temperature. Most of us have left them in "Cool" only for the last 8 months.

Money saving tip.
I received notice today that Duke Energy customers could be eligible for up to $800 in rebates for installation of a Heat Pump hot water heater.
We do not sell or install these but I have installed one in each of my two homes in the past 12 years.
If the WH is in the garage with good ventilation, it provides some cool are for the garage and makes hot water cheap.
In my home there is only the two of us and the Heat Pump portion makes all the hot water we need without help from the electric heater portion. I believe this saves us about $20 -$ 25 per month.
There should also be tax credits available for home energy improvements.

Second week of June and summer is now here. Happens almost to the day each year.
We get hot weather earlier but first part of June the humidity shows up to join the fun. Today I am showing a dewpoint of 77 degrees.
This means we have hit the uncomfortable summer heat/ humidity.
Things below dewpoint will start to condense /sweat. We start to see air handlers, ducts, grills and piping sweat.

January 2025 and the start of our 37 th year in business.
Sorry there isn't much action on the page.
We get a lot visits to the page and some very good comments from our customers. As you can imagine we have quite a few very good customers and many that have been with us since the start.
This year we are working to add to the staff to help keep wait times down and allow us the time to do additional training.

Our HVAC Lead Installers will be installing air conditioning and duct systems both residential and commercial.

- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Residential and commercial replacements
- Residential rough-ins
- Commercial build out work

Qualifications:
- More than 3 years lead installer experience preferred
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Valid Florida drivers license with clean record
- Fluid in cutting duct board
- Must provide your own necessary tools
- Commitment to performing high quality work
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Well groomed with a clean record

($$15-18/hr) HVAC Install Helper

Our HVAC Install helpers will be assisting in the installations of air conditioning and duct systems both residential and commercial.
