Giving Hope Garden Boxes have officially started! We have been tending to the garden all winter and now we are seeing the fruits of our labor.

Huge thank you to all of our CSA members this year, we couldn't do this without you. We are learning SO much and appreciate each and every person who supports our mission here.

All the vegetables you see here were grown from seed, no chemicals, just some water, sunshine, really good compost and lots of love.🌿

This past Friday we celebrated Jacks birthday with a yummy ice cream outing and made Sloppy Joes for Kitchen Friday! 🧑🏼‍🍳

Jack is such a spirited, kind soul with a fantastic work ethic and we feel so very lucky to have him. He takes a lot of pride in his work at the gardens as an intern whether it be mowing grass, weedwacking or getting his hands dirty in the raised beds planting seeds. We’d love for your family to be part of our very first Giving Hope Gardens CSA season! For just $200, you’ll have access to fresh-harvested, locally grown produce straight from our farm — and you can start picking up right now.

We currently have radishes, kale, lettuce, and chard ready and waiting, with so much more on the way. Biweekly Wednesday pick-ups run through May, with full boxes ready by early June.

We’re keeping our first year small — just 5 to 10 families — so spots are limited and first come, first served. Your support truly means the world to us as we grow this dream together. 🥬

**Interested CSA Members, please check your email with the latest update on our CSA Program. **

This week, if you have any time please stop by the gardens and see what we have growing. We are open Tuesday-Friday 9am-3pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm. We are charging $200 for the season, and right now we have radishes, kale, lettuce, chard ready to harvest and many veggies almost ready. Once you are paid you are welcome to pick up anything that is ready to harvest until the end of May, we hope to have enough to fill a box by the beginning of June. Pick up days will be Wednesdays (biweekly), if you need another day please reach out and let me know.

This is first come, first serve, we are only taking between 5-10 families for our first year to see how much we can produce and hope to grow next year. Once you have paid then your spot will be secured and we will make sure we have produce for you every other week.

One of our favorite things to do is gather up some of the prettiest blooms and lush greenery we have, grab our tools, and take the 2 minute drive on over to Downtown Loris where we maintain the city’s planters. 🪴

This is a regular task we take on with our interns and the help of a few friendly faces that instills a sense of accountability and pride in what we do at Giving Hope Gardens. Thank you CCity of Lorisfor empowering our team and supporting our mission of growing people and plants 🌱🪷
