Congratulations to for earning a Top Workplaces USA distinction in their 2026 ranking of workplaces among the nation! These workplaces are selected based on each company’s employees feedback through surveys. Out of 42,000 workplaces, Smithgroup was ranked #8!

They have also been recognized in the 2026 NIRSA Outstanding Facilities Award for two of their projects! This award honors innovative collegiate wellness environments and recreation.

Showing some love to 🍃

Autex Acoustics are the leading designers in awe-inspiring acoustic solutions. During our design process we aspired to create pieces that complemented their already stunning office space. We were able to install beautiful statement pieces that not only elevated the office, but helped to purify the air as well.

Overall, our proudest moment was the creation of a custom framed moss piece. The various shades of green surround the Autex Acoustics logo, creating a harmonious Biophilic inspired piece. ✨

Before October aka Filipino American History Month is over, I’d like to reintroduce myself…🍃

Hi! I’m Janessa Molina Maquindang, the founder of FLYPLANT, a bespoke plant design and care company serving the LA and OC area. My experience as a Filipina-American drive both my love for plants and passion for design. This results in stunning plants paired with modern planters, inspired by biophillic design principles.

My years of hands-on plant design experience is rooted in the wisdom of my ancestors who maintained a reciprocal relationship with the natural world around them. I believe we all deserve to benefit from the beauty and healing power of plants, especially in this busy modern world.

Together with my passionate team of plant care specialists, we seek out and carefully select high-quality plants from the best nurseries and greenhouses across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and beyond.

Fly plants, special tea, live jazz, and hand crafts tomorrow… and you’re invited💚

Everyday Poetics: is an open gathering at .us that celebrates design as part of daily life. Guests are invited to come and go, linger over tea, listen to jazz, and move through a space where craft, care, and conversation meet.

Alongside plants by available for purchase and curated objects, the gathering will also debut a custom dining table by , designed for .us . More than an event, Everyday Poetics is about noticing how ordinary rituals, tending a plant, sipping a cup, sharing music, gathering at a table, hold meaning and shape the way we live with design.

Plants available all day (best viewed 11-4pm) · Tea & live jazz 4-7pm · Wine & cocktails served throughout.

Biophilia - an innate love for nature; felt universally by humankind💚

One year of growth with .us 🌿

When you plant a seed in the soil, you have to nurture it with water, light, love & patience in order for something to grow. For the past year, we’ve been planting seeds in our design studio partnership with BASK, and it’s been more fruitful than we were expecting and we’re so grateful. This past February marks 1 year of collaborating and creating a biophilic designed future from our design studio in the Arts District.. and we’re just getting started🍃
