The discovery of my muse.
I often get asked where I found my inspiration for this fireplace and the answer is simple: its history.
The house was built in 1907 to Clara Baldwin (daughter of “Lucky Baldwin”) and since then has changed owners over the last decade with each adding their own mark on the home. This fireplace was one of them. Off center, angled with the brick surround freestanding off the wall. (Swipe to see the before)
Instead of tearing it down and starting over, we worked within the nature of what was given and it is a masterpiece of leathered quartzite. This is not your Macabre or Taj Mahal.
This one is in their own catagory of natural beauty of deep marbled turquoise, navy’s and creamy white. It is called “Sea Pearl” provided by
