Santa Monica College, Math and Science Building
A place that unites the college’s largest and fastest-growing programs under one roof, this building features everything from state-of-the-art science labs to a planetarium and rooftop observatory. It’s designed for discovery, collaboration, and community connections.

We are pleased to announce that our Resnick Sustainability Center at Caltech has been received a 2025 AIA|LA Design Award.

The Resnick Sustainability Center serves as a dynamic makerspace for scientists and engineers tackling the planet’s most urgent climate and sustainability challenges.

Thanks to AIA Los Angeles, the jury, and everyone who contributed to this innovative project.

We had the honor of attending the dedication of the University of Utah’s Impact & Prosperity Epicenter, home to the Sorenson Impact Center and the Business Health and Prosperity Center. Funded by Jim and Krista Sorenson and Bob and Lynette Gay, this hub combines student housing with entrepreneurial learning to promote social impact.

The Epicenter prepares students to drive growth, hope, and prosperity globally. It features a living/learning community for impact investors, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, health professionals, policy experts, and researchers. We also toured the building and saw the students’ collaborative and experiential work.

Thank you, Southern California Development Forum, for recognizing the Caltech Resnick Sustainability Center with a 2024 Design & Philanthropy Honor Award. We have been fortunate to work with incredible partners like Caltech, Hensel Phelps and numerous others on this breakthrough project.

The SCDF is focused on investing in the future of our communities, and the Resnick project is a model of that commitment.
