Looking forward to moving ahead on this one..... a new clubhouse and event facility for the renown Oak Quarry Golf course in Riverside, CA........named best course in the USA in 2013 and built in the abandoned Jensen Quarry....which supplied the stone for the historic buildings in downtown Los Angeles

Pleskow Architects West Washington mixed use project which includes very low income units is almost complete..... 60 days or so from opening. more urban fabric to come.

We are currently working with Zumtobel of Germany and LightBuildDesign in Los Angeles to light the metal scrim of this new project. Shadows of planting and people moving along the screen will animate this surface from dusk to dawn.

I have the good fortune of chairing this year's AIA/LA's Urban Design Committee....something I'm keenly interested in. Our last meeting, which focused on the decline of LA's Urban Forest, continues programming that focuses on ways that smart Urban Design can reduce our carbon footprint and it's effect on global warming! We need to change the way we do business now!

This house, which we completed a couple years back, was in the LA Times last week and is now on the market. It moved quick and escrow is set to close at the end of March. Looking forward to meeting the new Owners.
